I’ve talked to all kinds of different people who want to learn guitar, and their reasons all vary. Some people want to learn to play guitar in order to impress their friends, to get good enough to join or start a band, some just for campfire jamming, some for stress relief, and others purely because they love music and expressing themselves through music.

Regardless of your reasons, learning to play guitar can be very fulfilling. It truly is an investment in yourself to learn an instrument – it is a skill you’ll have for the rest of your life. Many of the great guitar players continued playing (and performing!) well into their nineties!
